- My temper when someone I love is being bullied
- Anything being transported between Memphis and New Orleans
- How to spell “wierd” … um, “weird”

- A race against Evangeline, whether by dog or man
- A fight with Godzilla
- Recollection of bad things that have happened to me over the years
- Anger at my husband
- Muscle tone
- The rule about using commas around a named thing (“my book The Bone Trench”–to comma or not?)
- Power on my phone
- Details of a dream
- The willpower not to eat potato chips
- Forgiveness towards a person who repeats the perceived offense
- Socks in the dryer
- The wisp of youthful beauty
- Concentration when a baby is crying
- A tube of lipstick
- Anything when the grandkids are in the house
- Tolerance in the face of meanness
- A tan
- Passwords
- Peace of mind as the gas tank runs dry
- Hopelessness in the face of love
Happy 2016!
2016 list, list of things lost, Lists, loss as a good thing, new year's list
Joe Hawes
Will this be an annual thing? I will start my own list today. And I have resolved not to think about commas during 2016

Ahh, continuity. It might very well be. Or perhaps in 2017 “17 Things Easily Gained.” And your “not thinking about commas” New Year’s Resolution might be the best I’ve yet heard.
Deborah

Deborah
