The Bone Trench for the Show
I’m thrilled to report that The Bone Trench was a Short-List Finalist in the William Faulkner-William Wisdom Novel-in-Progress Competition 2015.
The quirky manuscript was in the company of 14 other manuscripts being considered for the win.
Congratulations to Emily Capdeville on her selection as the winner!

Yeah, trying to keep up with myself is sometimes a bit much, even for me. đŸ˜‰

Yay! Making the short list is fantastic!

I’m kind of enamored with the “short list” thing. It sounds so formal. Which is funny for this odd novel featuring Mother Mary and Jesus and a devilish private prison project. The exact opposite of formal.

Woot!!! Man, Ellen, this is fabulous!!!!

Yes, this was the mysteriously disappearing post I did earlier, after questioning the wisdom of announcing when the submissions were blind. Who knows, but I’m glad to share it now. I was really happy the manuscript made it that far. Maybe (fingers crossed) the acquisitions editor now reading it will give it a chance too. đŸ™‚

It was probably really smart to take it down. But NOW you can share. Yay!!!!
