These are hilarious! This is my favorite: “A woman who’s seen a snake eat a frog, Ellen Morris Prewitt’s collection Cain’t Do Nothing with Love exploring, among other things, the mysteries of the front yard”

So glad you thought they were funny – they are parodies of the emails I get on actual deals, and they all start with dangling modifiers . . .

Oh my gosh–I didn’t even notice that. *hands in Grammar-Police badge*

I am so excited to have something new to listen to while I cook! Anything that drowns out Dora the Explorer from the TV room is an A+ in my book. In all seriousness, I will listen happily and can’t wait to hear what you’ve done. It’s super awesome that you’re putting it out there for free.
Also, I heartily concur, “A woman who’s seen a snake eat a frog, Ellen Morris Prewitt’s collection Cain’t Do Nothing with Love exploring, among other things, the mysteries of the front yard” is so hilarious and actually makes me even more interested to hear your stories.

Thank you so much for giving them a listen! You’ll recognize that particular quote when you hear “A Trip to the Lawyer.” Nine of the 14 stories have been published in literary journals, so I thought, why not offer them for free? I hope you enjoy them . . . at least better than Dora the Explorer.
